Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
The ClicCash group ("ClicCash", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you buy a ticket through ClicCash Events, why we collect it, and your rights. This policy explains how we handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25. Because ticket data is also used at event entry in Antigua, we also refer to the Data Protection Act 2013 of Antigua and Barbuda.
1. Who we are
ClicCash Events is operated by the ClicCash group, made up of:
- ClicCash Limited, Unit 16, Royal Palm Place, Friars Hill Road, St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda (Company No. C0388/2024); and
- ClicCash Technologies Canada Ltd., 3435 Rue Drummond, Montreal, QC H3G 1X8, Canada.
The seller of your order is shown at checkout and on your receipt. That seller is the merchant of record for your order.
The seller of your order, shown at checkout and on your receipt, collects your personal information for that order. The other group entity receives it only as needed to run ClicCash Events, as described in section 4.

2. What we collect
- Identity and contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Ticket and order information: the event, ticket type and quantity, order number, price and currency, delivery status, and whether and when the ticket was scanned at entry.
- Payment metadata: a transaction reference, amount, currency, status and date.
- Messages you send us, for example to support.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, kept in standard server logs by our hosting provider.
- Campaign counts. We count how many visits, sign-ups and ticket orders come from each of our links (for example the QR code on a flyer). These are totals only: we do not use cookies or advertising trackers for this, and we do not record who you are. Your browser keeps a note of the link that brought you here for up to 30 days, on your device only, so a later order can be counted for that link.
Card data. Your card number, expiry date and security code are entered with and handled by our payment processor. We never receive or store them.
3. Why we use it
- to process your order, take payment and deliver your ticket by email and in the ClicCash app;
- to check your ticket at the gate, including making sure each ticket is scanned only once;
- to give customer support, handle refunds and tell you if an event is cancelled or postponed;
- if you sign up for an on-sale alert, to message you, by email and/or text message, when tickets go on sale and with updates about that event, and, only if you ticked the box for news, about ClicCash and ClicCash Events. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to a text or by writing to events@cliccash.com;
- to prevent fraud and keep our systems secure; and
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
By buying a ticket you consent to these uses, which are necessary to provide it. We do not sell your personal information. We will not send you marketing unless you separately agree to it.
4. Who we share it with
- our payment processor, to charge your card and process refunds;
- our affiliate ClicCash Limited (Antigua and Barbuda), which operates the ClicCash app and event entry, to deliver your ticket in the app and verify it at the gate;
- the event organiser and gate staff, limited to what is needed to verify tickets and admit you;
- service providers who host our systems, deliver email and text messages and support the ClicCash app, under contract and only for our purposes; and
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside Quebec and Canada
Your information may be processed outside Quebec and outside Canada: in Antigua and Barbuda, where tickets are scanned at event entry, and in other countries where our service providers operate. Before we communicate personal information outside Quebec, we assess the privacy risks, including the legal protection in the destination, and we use contracts to make sure the information receives protection suited to those risks.
6. How long we keep it
- Order, ticket and payment records: 7 years, to meet accounting, tax and dispute obligations.
- Entry scan records: 12 months after the event.
- Support messages: 24 months after the last exchange.
- Server logs: 90 days.
- On-sale alert sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
When the information is no longer needed, we destroy it or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you whether we hold personal information about you, and give you access to it;
- correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal;
- delete it or stop using it, where the law allows, and withdraw a consent you gave;
- give you your computerized personal information in a structured, commonly used technological format, or send it to another organisation you name.
Write to privacy@cliccash.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within 30 days. For information used at entry in Antigua, you also have the access and correction rights set out in the Data Protection Act 2013.
8. Security and incidents
We protect personal information with safeguards suited to its sensitivity. We keep a register of confidentiality incidents and, when an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and/or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as applicable, and the people affected.
9. This website
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. To display our typeface, your browser loads Montserrat from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google.
10. Questions and complaints
Start with our person in charge at privacy@cliccash.com. If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint with:
